Country Grocer is a Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island, family and island-owned and operated grocery chain with stores in Victoria, Cobble Hill, Saltspring Island, Lake Cowichan and Nanaimo.

Most importantly our grocery stores provide exceptional products, service, pricing, and community support.

We strive to provide our customers with the freshest products available and to support local British Columbia suppliers whenever possible. You’ll feel like family!

Country Grocer first opened its doors in December 1984 in Nanaimo. The past three decades have been a rewarding and energizing experience and we look forward to continuing our growth over the next twenty years and beyond.

We offer customer-focused, competitive food stores that support the community, local suppliers, and sustainable growth that will benefit our dedicated employees and Islanders for many years to come.
